DAU, Pampanga –The Social Security System (SSS) offered PRRP 3 to six delinquent employers during the Run After Contributions Evaders (RACE) campaign last August 26.
RACE is a nationwide campaign that promotes employer compliance through registration of business and timely remittance of employees’ Social Security (SS) and Employees’ Compensation (EC) contributions as mandated by Republic Act No. 11199 or Social Security Act of 2018.
“We can say that our previously held campaigns were successful because one employer paid their arrears in full while others already submitted their PRRP applications shortly after our last operation in San Fernando, Pampanga. We expect receiving the same compliance here in Dau Branch, with a total collectible of P2.4 million,” SSS Vice President for Luzon Central 2 Division Gloria Corazon M. Andrada said.
Visited employers were also served written orders informing them to comply within 15 days with the option to avail the Pandemic Relief and Restructuring Program (PRRP 3) or Enhanced Installment Payment Program which offers flexible payment terms ranging from nine to 60 months, depending on the total amount of delinquency. This program will run until November 21, 2022.
“Our Account Officer here in Dau Branch is available to assist our employers who opt to avail of the program whether subject to RACE operations or not,” Andrada added.
RACE Dau is the 10th operation in Luzon Central 2 Division, with two more campaigns within the year.
“Our employers are completely aware that their compliance is crucial for the social security protection of their employees in times of contingencies. However, they stated that they are still in the process of recovering from their financial losses, which SSS understands, and they are grateful for the special programs that we offer because most of them cannot pay in full their delinquencies right away,” Andrada concluded.
