Nearly a thousand kulasas came home to St. Scholastica’s Academy Pampanga on Saturday, February 7, as generations of alumnae gathered for the school’s 101st Grand Alumni Homecoming.

Spearheaded by the Batch 2001 Silver Jubilarians, the celebration carried the theme “SSA 101: Together as One,” reflecting both the start of a new century and the enduring bond that connects Scholasticans across generations. Alumnae from different batches were joined by Benedictine sisters and educators in a gathering rooted in shared history and community.

The homecoming embraced a pop culture fusion concept that honored the icons and influences that defined various eras. Through this theme, alumni were encouraged to rediscover the magic of their school years while expressing how each generation’s story continues to evolve.

The program adapted well-loved traditions from the year 2000, featuring a formal opening, batch presentations, pop culture and nostalgia corners, and a much anticipated raffle draw. These activities created a lively atmosphere while reinforcing the alumni’s strong connection to their alma mater, the heart of St. Scholastica’s Academy.

One of the highlights of the event was the recognition of distinguished alumnae through the Gawad HuSSAy and SaySSAy Awards. The honors were conferred on individuals acknowledged for their excellence, professional achievements, and meaningful contributions to the community.

Kristianne Joy Sombillo, Batch 2001 secretary and Gawad HuSSAy awardee, underscored the lasting impact of a Scholastican education.

“St. Scholastica’s Academy will continue to provide transformational education, and we are a testament to that, as the alumni have developed compassionate hearts and achieved success in their respective fields,” Sombillo said.

With the theme “SSA 101: Together as One,” the 101st Grand Alumni Homecoming strengthened the ties between generations of kulasa and reaffirmed their shared commitment to the values and legacy of St. Scholastica’s Academy Pampanga.
