LIMAY, Bataan — A reportedly spurned lover stabbed to death two elderly women and a young girl in a house in Barangay Duale here morning of Tuesday, Sept. 12.
Major Dennis Duran, Limay police chief, identified the fatalities as house owner Rosita Velasquez Lobaton, 70, and companions Reign Sampang, 11 and her lola Marie Sampang, 60.
Duran said the victims sustained multiple stab wounds apparently from a knife.
The suspect was identified as Arvin Martin of Lubao. Pampanga, alleged live-in partner of Marie.
“May witness tayo na nag-away itong suspect na si Arvin Martin at si Marie na kung saan hinihiwalayan ng babae ang lalaki na ikinagalit nito,” the police chief said.
He said that they conducted hot pursuit operation and collared the suspect in his residence in Barangay San Pablo in Lubao, Pampanga after coordinating with the Lubao police and barangay officials.
“Nahaharap ang suspect sa kasong multiple murder dahil sa pagpatay niya sa tatlong biktima. Sa ngayon masasabi nating crime solved na ito dahil mabibigat ang mga ebidensiya na nakuha natin,” Duran said. (30)
