Bataan 1st District Rep. Rep. Geraldine Roman

ORANI, Bataan — “Ramdam po namin ang hinaing ninyo (we feel your woes),” 1st District Rep. Geraldine Roman addressed farmers in her social media page.

This was her reaction to the complaint of farmers over the surge in the price of inorganic fertilizers like urea or the nitrogen fertilizer that doubled its price in just a few months.

From P1,200 last planting season between June to October, 2021, one bag of urea presently costs P2,550.

Roman who is seeking reelection unopposed in the May 2022 elections said she understood the plight of farmers.
