SOLENN HEUSSAFF says her financial set-up with husband Nico Bolzico is “very modern.”
Solenn is totally fine with the financial set-up that she and husband Nico Bolzico currently have.
Would you believe they’re both clueless about their individual savings?
“Oo, kasi wala akong pake,” Nico, for his part, has an idea on how much his wife earns.
Solenn continued, “…he knows naman how much I earn, ganun, but he doesn’t know kung may savings ako or kung wala.”
Solenn prefers this arrangement because she doesn’t want money to be the cause of their fights.
“I don’t want to. I think it’s healthy, I think it’s healthy, kasi if you think about it, life in general, not just marriage, but friends, business, pag may away, it’s always financial, it’s always about money.”
So, they decided to set a fixed amount for their joint account, where they will withdraw the monthly household expenses.
Solenn said, “May joint account na every month, same yung amount na nilalagay namin.
“So pag kailangan kong magbayad ng bills for the house or ganun, dun ko kinukuha.”
They shoulder their personal expenses.
“Pag travel ko, sa bank account ko, pag travel niya, sa bank account niya. Very modern!”
With this set-up, they have the freedom and flexibility to plan and spend their earnings.
In a previous interview with Solenn, she said, “Basta this amount goes to our joint account, you can do what you want with the rest.
“This saves us from the trouble of having monthly discussion about money.
“I don’t have to inform him also about my purchases, and, siya rin.
“Although, I’m not really the maluho type. I actually have very basic needs, even in fashion. Hindi ako yung always branded clothes.”
“Siguro bulk of my personal expenses, sa travels.
“But I know my budget. It helps that they have “predictable” needs.
“I guess this set-up works because we pretty much have the same lifestyle.
“We also do not eat out often.
“Kumbaga, wala yung mga surprising expenses na, ‘Saan galing yun?’”
Solenn and Nico will most likely change their set-up once they have a baby.
She added, “Oo, madadagdagan ang amount. And aside from the monthly expenses, there must be an account for the baby’s future as well.”

INA RAYMUNDO’S youngest daughter Minka seems like the most likely heir to her mom’s showbiz throne.
At five years old, her looks, talent and natural charm are earning her a lot of attention on social media.
Ina and husband Brian Poturnak undoubtedly have artistahin kids—Erika, Jakob, Anika, Mikaela, and Minka.
Although none of them are currently in the entertainment scene, the celebrity mom revealed that she’s often asked if she would allow them to join showbiz in the near future.
And in an Instagram post few months ago, she answered, “Yes, I will allow if they really, really want to do it and they’re at an appropriate age to make such a decision.”
So far, five-year-old Minka is the only one who has shown interest in becoming an actress.
Interestingly, when Ina was pregnant with Minka, she was fond of watching zombie flicks.
With a grin, she confessed, “I watched 4 seasons of Walking Dead while I was pregnant with her.”
“Ang batang pinaglihi ko sa zombies…”
That’s why during last year’s Halloween, portraying a zombie was the top choice.
Well, if you have a mom who’s an actress, it wouldn’t be surprising if you’d ham it up for the camera naturally, right?
In fact, Ina called Minka a “scene stealer” in one of her shoots. Part of her caption reads, “So I brought this cutie patootie to my photo shoot yesterday and she stole the show!
“She wanted her photos to be taken. She demanded it. [smiley emoji]
“She’s so happy in this environment. [heart emoji].”
Called “little doll” by her proud mom, Minka is athletic as well.
She plays baseball like her Kuya Jakob.
At two and a half years old, she’s been “bugging” her mom that she wants to work out.
But wait.
There’s even more to this cute bundle of energy.
Did you know that Minka can play the piano too?
“Minka started playing the piano (keyboard) at the age of 4. ???? She learned to read notes before she could read words.”
Isn’t she the future Liza Soberano?
