CLARK FREEPORT — Clark Development Corporation (CDC) President and CEO, Atty. Agnes VST Devanadera received a delegation from Papua New Guinea, led by Filipina Laurena, Executive Director of the International Container Terminal Services, Inc. (ICTSI) Foundation and Bloomberry Cultural Foundation, Inc. (BCFI).
The delegation’s courtesy visit to the CDC President’s Office on June 22 underscored public-private synergy in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives benefiting the Aeta Communities in the Clark Freeport Zone.
The BCFI, serving as the CSR arm of Solaire Resort and Casino, played a pivotal role by funding the construction of one-stop-multi-purpose structures, ensuring essential social services such as daycare education, livelihood training, a feeding program, and health services, while promoting and preserving the vibrant Aeta culture.
These five Family Care Centers, strategically situated within the municipalities of Mabalacat, Pampanga, and Bamban, Tarlac, specifically in Sitios Calapi, San Vicente, Sto. Nino, Burog, and Marcos Village.
Also present was Rommel C. Narciso, CDC Assistant Vice President for External Affairs. The delegation’s visit preceded a tour of the CDC-Bloomberry-OB Pagsasarili Family Care Center in San Vicente Bamban, reflecting the collective dedication to uplift and empower the Aeta residents.
