CABANATUAN CITY – Nueva Ecija newsmen covering business and entrepreneurship were treated to a fun-filled thanksgiving night by SM Supermalls, particularly SM Cabanatuan City and SM Megacenter, at the Fresko Hotel Resort here Saturday.
Assistant mall Managers Chao Chua and Mauro Magtoto of SM City Cabanatuan and Romar Berja of SM Megacenter mixed it up with the media in songs with a local band and games at the poolside event.
Senior PR manager Rain Cervantes also came all the way from Pampanga to share the joy with the newsmen here.
“Kami po ay nagpapasalamat na patuloy niyo po kaming sinusuportahan sa bawat events po namin, sa bawat program, sa bawat acts of kindness namin. Sa labas at sa loob ng mall ay nandiyan po kayo,” Chua said in acknowledging the support of media that included Punto! Central Luzon.
“Maraming maraming salamat po for being our partners sa pagsi-serve sa maraming Nueva Ecijano,” said Magtoto.
Berja noted the hardship that everybody had gone through at the height of Covid-19 pandemic: “After two years ngayon lang ulit tayo nagkasama-sama after the pandemic. Kahit papaano we are all survivors ng pandemic na ito.”
Cervantes likewise acknowledged the important role played by the media since the malls were established in this city.
She expressed gratitude that the media have been supportive of their endeavors, working closely with Sheen Eugenio as their PR head in the province.
