The City Government of San Fernando recently honored its top taxpayers and stakeholders during the annual Stakeholders’ Day, celebrating the vital contributions of businesses to the local economy. Among the distinguished honorees were SM City Telabastagan and SM City Pampanga, recognized for their significant tax contributions across various categories. SM City Telabastagan stood out as a top payer in multiple sectors.
The SM Store Telabastagan ranked fourth in the Business Tax – Retailers category, while Super Value Inc. secured third place. Leading the category was SM Appliance Center, which claimed the top spot. The mall also ranked first for Real Property Tax under the corporation division, alongside SM Prime Holdings.
Additionally, SM City Telabastagan was recognized as the leading Amusement Tax payer. SM City Pampanga also made its mark by securing the top position in the Business Tax – Services category.
City Mayor Hon. Vilma B. Caluag, Vice Mayor Hon. Benedict Jasper Simon Lagman, and other key officials attended the event, highlighting the essential role of businesses like SM in driving the city’s growth and development.
