It’s the first Christmas Launch at SM City Olongapo which signaled the beginning of the Holiday Season last week.
The launch was graced by Olongapo City Mayor James Gordon, Jr.,SBMA Director and First Lady Anne Gordon ,City Councilors Eyrma Yvette Marzan-Estrella, Ellen Dabu, Edna Elane, Rodel Cerezo, Eduardo Piano, MOCCI Chairman Aurelio Pineda and some barangay officials and SM Managers and employees.
Asst. Mall Manager Renalin Briones said the malls showcased centerpieces that’s been welcomed by the whole family.
“It’s always a joy to see the children’s excited faces while taking pictures beside the colorful Christmas displays in different areas around the mall,” Briones added.
Chorale groups from Columban College and Aura Mondriann College serenaded the crowd with their rendition of Christmas songs.
Crowd yelled and sang along with X Factor Philippines Grand Winner KZ Tandingan as she impressed SM Olongapo crowd with her unique combination of singing and rapping talent.
The launch also introduced the latest remix version of SM Supermalls’ Christmas ChriSMs jingle which now being played in the mall’s sound system.
Simultaneous with this event is the SM Cares Bear launch, that aims to help less fortunate kids. Mall goers may adopt an SM Cares Bear for P100 and hang it on the Christmas Bear Tree.
Proceeds of the program together with the SM Cares Bears will be donated to charitable institutions nationwide.
