SM City Cabanatuan opens first Dog Agility Park in the North

Located at the economic heart of Nueva Ecija the largest province in Central Luzon, SM City Cabanatuan has always been a destination point for urban pet owners to feel welcome and access their pet parent needs. It has become even pet-friendlier and a safe and fun haven for fur babies and their parents as it opens the first-ever pet park located at the 4L Roof Park on October 9 (Friday).

SM City Cabanatuan Paw Park features board jump, see saw, A flame, hurdle jump, pause table, dog walk, weaves pole and other amenities for more fun and exciting activity area for hoomans and their well-loved pets. For everyone’s safety and comfort, dog park etiquette and safety rules will be observed – all of which are posted for reference right at the Paw Park entrance.

With the current pandemic, the need for safe community spaces is greater than ever. SM City Cabanatuan brings the solution to this need with the Paw Park – a designated venue for much needed doggy outdoor exercise and monitored socialization.

SM Regional Manager Ian Ezekiel Balao said that this project aims to create a place for dog owners to safely walk and train their pets in commitment to keep bringing new, exciting, and safe offerings to its community in a new normal 2020.

“We develop this area for pet and their owners to enjoy. This is free and absolutely safe for everyone guided by park rules and regulations. We know that our pets also want to go outdoor activities after a long period of quarantine and this is best and safest place not only to walks but also to train because of its facilities” said Balao.

During the launched SM invited few representatives from Nueva Ecija and Cabanatuan Local Government Units led by 3rd District Board Member EJ Joson, and Cabanatuan Dog Society to witness the opening of the Paw Park.

SM City Cabanatuan also opens door to local Small Medium Enterprise in Nueva Ecija currently feature in their Green Hub wherein best succulents, indoor plants and gardening essentials was being offered to shoppers.
