Police identified the fatalities as Eduardo Dasalla, Jr., 21 and elder sister Michaela Mae, 22, both of Barangay Lomboy, Bautista, Pangasinan. Their relative, Romnick De Guzman, 37, of Barangay Imelda, Cabanatuan City is undergoing treatment in a local hospital.

Investigation showed, the victims were on board a tricycle driven by Eduardo heading east when its rear was hit by a 10-wheeler truck (CCK 9214) driven by a certain Benjamin Manrique, 58, of Parada, Valenzuela City.
