CITY OF SAN FERNANDO—The San Fernando Electric Light and Power Company
has opened mobile phone numbers to accept reporting and inquiries through the
use of short messaging system (SMS) or text.
This, to providing customers with additional options for reporting line trouble and
addressing other concerns, said Irwin Nucum, SFELAPCO corporate
communications officer.

Mobile phone numbers that have been established for this purpose are:
Smart—09985559100 and 09088821352; Globe—09178752972; and,
Sun—09339068447. These numbers are designated solely for text messaging, and
no voice calls will be accepted, Nucum noted.

Customers can now send text messages to these numbers to report line trouble,
inquire about their accounts, or raise any other related concerns.
“This new communication channel is designed to be convenient and be easily
accessible for customers who prefer to communicate through text rather than
making a phone call or visiting the SFELAPCO office in person,” Nucum explained.
By opening up these mobile phone numbers, SFELAPCO aims to streamline the
reporting and inquiry process, ultimately leading to faster response times and
more efficient issue resolution.

Nucum also emphasized the importance of using the new mobile numbers
responsibly, and only for reporting genuine line trouble or making valid inquiries.
“SFELAPCO urges customers to refrain from sending spam or irrelevant messages
to these numbers, as it may affect the efficiency of the reporting process and
delay the resolution of legitimate issues,” Nucum said. Press release
