CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – Police scored big in the anti-illegal drugs campaign with the confiscation of a total of P8-million worth of shabu and the arrest of three drug peddlers in two separate buy-bust operations in Pampanga on Wednesday.
In his report to Police Regional Office-3 director Brig. Gen. Matthew Baccay, newly installed Pampanga police director Col. Robin Sarmiento said operatives of the town police conducted an entrapment operation along MacArthur Highway in Sto. Domingo, Minalin town, where one Noraya Ampaso, 30, of Barangay Sta. Trinidad, Angeles City was arrested.
Recovered from her were seven plastic sachets of shabu weighing 305 grams with street value of P2,078,000; the P500 bill marked money and 19 pieces of P500 bills in boodle money; a pouch and a cellphone.
In Angeles City, operatives of the city police and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency seized some P6 million worth of shabu in a sting operation along Pampang Road, Barangay Lourdes Northwest that resulted in the arrest of two suspected bigtime drug peddlers.
Police Station 2 chief Maj. Marlon Ventus identified those arrested as Junair Udasan, 36, of No. 44, Manga St., Camarin, Caloocan City, and Alnor Anuar, 20, of Sikum Matagumpay Caasi, Lanao Del Sur.
Ventus furthered in his report to Angeles City police director Col. Rommel Batangan that the operatives recovered from the two suspects “11 knot-tied plastic ice packs containing shabu weighing over a kilo valued at P6,834,000; the P1,000 marked money and the boodle money. Police also impounded the suspects’ white Toyota Innova.
All those arrested will be charged for violation of RA 9165, police said. With media reports
