CLARK FREEPORT – "I want to thank all the associates who have been working together with such diligence and dedication that made everything possible."

Thus said Kazuhiko Mori, president of the Sumidenso Automotive Technologies Asia Corporation (SAT-A), during their firm’s recent 10th anniversary celebration at their office here.

"Looking back at the history of our company: It was on July 22, 1999 when SAT-A was established in the Philippines as an off-shore business for automotive wiring harness design and software development site for its parent company, Sumitomo Wiring Systems of Japan, and from then on, our business has grown positively year by year through all your efforts," added Mori in his inspirational speech.

With its theme "One Family in Celebrating One Decade of Excellence," Mori and his fellow officials gave due recognition to the pioneer employees of SAT-A. He handed over a certificate of service award in appreciation of their valuable contribution and dedicated 10 years of loyalty and untiring service to the company and a check amounting to P100,000 to each of the honorees. Most of these honorees now occupy managerial and supervisory positions at SAT-A.

Among SAT-A’s valued clients are Toyota, Honda, Ford USA, Ford Australia, General Motors, Mitsubishi, Daihatsu, Suzuki, Mazda and Hino.

The day-long celebration started with a thanksgiving Mass officiated by Fr. Sonny Pahed. Guests and families of the employees joined the highlights of celebration, including fun games, magic show and an office tour. Live band entertainments were also held at the SAT-A grounds.

In a statement, SAT-A said "it was a well-attended event that was made even more meaningful by the participation of the family members of SAT-A associates, which is an indication that despite the looming effects of the global business recession, SAT-A will survive in this tough economic year through everyone’s unwavering spirit and surely, will have an even grander celebration on its 15th and even its 20th year!"
