    ANGELES CITY – A new club opened here last week, adding more value and class to the wholesome side of fun and entertainment in this city.

    Cuba, Cuba on Saturday night delighted the crowd at its opening graced by known personalities and the city’s VIPs, including Mayor Edgardo “Ed” Pamintuan and his wife Herminia.

    The club at the corner of A. Santos Road and Vian St., just off world famous Fields Avenue in Balibago is the latest venture of young business magnate Louis C. Yakich, owner of the Lewis Grand Hotel at Don Juico Avenue, Malabanias, here.

    City chief of staff Alexander Cauguiran rated the Latin music “dance-inducing,” what with the band belting out Santana classics like “Oye como va,” ‘Black Magic Woman” and “Samba pa ti.” Even as he cried for more.

    “Superb music. Good food. Great ambiance. Cool crowd. Louis has a winner here,” Pamintuan said.

    Others spotted at the opening of Cuba Cuba were disc jockey Kiko Nepomuceno Antonio, former Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. (Pagcor) executive JB Bangsil, former Councilor Agapito del Rosario and former Misamis Oriental Gov. Homobono Daza.

    Cuba, Cuba takes over the former International Bar and Grille once known to be frequented by President Aquino.
