CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga (PIA) — The City Government of San Fernando has acquired 76 new service vehicles to strengthen its operational capacity and ensure faster and more efficient delivery of government services to Fernandinos.

The newly acquired fleet consists of 36 motorcycles, 27 service vehicles, 11 heavy vehicles, and two equipment vehicles.

An additional equipment unit was also donated by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, further augmenting the city’s resources.

City officials said the new vehicles are expected to enhance logistics support and improve the city government’s ability to respond to the daily service needs of residents.

The  motorcycles are intended to help barangay personnel and health workers reach communities more quickly, particularly in areas with narrow streets and remote locations.

Meanwhile, the service vehicles are expected to support the mobility and safety of social workers, engineers, and disaster response teams  as they carry out their respective functions across the city.

The acquisition forms part of the city government’s continuing efforts to improve frontline services and ensure timely assistance for Fernandinos.  (MJSC/AJMP, PIA Region 3-Pampanga)
