BALANGA CITY — Senatorial bet Mar Roxas on Tuesday batted for zero interest for loans to market vendors and farmers as he made the rounds of the Balanga City Public Market in Bataan.
He shook hands, posed for pictures with vendors and marketgoers and asked vendors of their concerns.
He said that the vendors voiced many complaints, first, the increase in prices of products and second, their need for low interest on loans having not enough capital.
He said those who can afford credit cards pay only three percent interest monthly. He said the solution was very simple.
Asked if it was true that he has a gap with other candidates under Otso Diretso, he answered “kayo lang sa media nag-iisip niyan. Siguro naghahanap kayo ng pasabong.”
