CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – Close to P7 billion worth of completed projects were bannered by 3rd District Rep. Oscar “Oca” S. Rodriguez as his accomplishments in the district for the year 2014 to 2016.

A total of P2,805,419,622.64 worth of completed projects were made in this component city by Rodriguez in the form of infrastructure projects under the same period.

This includes the construction of byways from Barangay Del Rosario to Anao in Mexico and convergence roads from the Jose Abad Santos Avenue (JASA) to Arayat.

Flyovers in this city were also among the completed projects as well as the more than P100 million worth of riprapping of the Balimbing Creek from Sapang Balen in Angeles City to Barangay Calulut to the Bulaon Resettlement and Barangay Del Carmen which prevented the flooding at JASA in front of Carworld.

A bypass in Barangay San Felipe was also completed.

In Bacolor, P1,867,960,692.24 were summed up for completed projects including slope protection works, flood control and road widening.

In Arayat, P714,112,180.00 worth of completed projects were reported by the solon.

In Mexico town, P1,102,686,202 worth of completed projects were made while only P483,663,050 worth of completed projects were listed in Sta. Ana, the smallest local government unit in the district, as accomplishments of Rodriguez.

“ Notwithstanding the absence of PDAF and DAP, we were able to complete these hard infra projects as an expression of the commitment of President Aquino to the development of Pampanga,” Rodriguez said.

He noted that it was in “recognition and appreciation of that commitment” that moved Pampanga Gov. Lilia G. Pineda to support the “daang-matuwid tandem of Mar Roxas and Leni Robredo.”
