CLARK FREEPORT – Bringing in an elevated lifestyle for the Kapampangans, the first Rockwell Center outside Metro Manila will soon rise at the Nepo Center in the heart of Angeles City.
According to Rockwell Land Corporation president and CEO Nestor Padilla, during the 1st general membership meeting of the Metro Angeles Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc. at the Hilton Clark Sun Valley on March 31, Rockwell Center Nepo Angeles will carry some of the high-end brands from SSI Group, the country’s largest specialty retailer, in its Power Plant Mall.
Among these upscale brands are Armani Exchange, Bally, Kate Spade, Charriol, Furla, Jo Malone, Michael Kors, Tory Burch, and Zara. Other target offerings and brands also include Rolex, Diptyque, Mossimo Dutti, Muji, Lacoste, as well as The Grid and The Marketplace to complement its elevated lifestyle.
Power Plant Mall Angeles will also house restaurants such as Din Tai Fung, Shake Shack, 8 Cuts Burgers, Mamou, M&S Cafe, and Starbucks Reserve.
“Originally we thought we would open the mall in 2025, and then with Covid-19 pandemic we thought we would open it in 2028. But with the response of SSI, we might try to shoot for opening in 2026,” he said.
Padilla added that since Nepo Center already has some existing buildings, the redevelopment of the remaining areas will be faster as they continue to transform Nepo into a master plan, mixed use, in a city development.
Padilla shared that despite the uncertainties, they will remain focused as the market continues to respond with optimism and hopes to deliver desirable communities in Angeles City.
