CLARK FREEPORT – Aptly themed “Rising with Purpose, Brewing with Passion,” the 18th graduation ceremony at the La Rose Noire Foundation (LNRF) Training Center here on Dec. 19 marked the transformative journey of 18 young individuals who have overcome adversity, embraced discipline, and displayed extraordinary resilience throughout their six-month Bread and Pastry Production NC Il and the newly launched Barista NCII programs.
“Rising with Purpose” symbolizes the scholars’ growth in both skill and character as they prepare to enter the industry with confidence, clarity, and a renewed sense of responsibility.
“Brewing with Passion” captures the creativity, commitment, and enthusiasm they invested in their craft-much like the precision and care required in producing baked goods or crafting a perfect cup of coffee.
The ceremony brought together industry partners, government agency leaders, community organizations, families, and friends who gathered in support of the graduates, underscoring the shared commitment to empowering underserved youth through opportunities that lead to meaningful employment and long-term livelihood.

As part of its flagship Scholarship Training Program, LRNF provides full scholarships to out-of-school youth, offering Technical Education and Skills Development Authority-accredited training, free lodging, meals, uniforms, transportation, and allowances.
Beyond technical education, scholars benefit from mentorship and life-coaching from La Rose Noire executives, managers, and supervisors a holistic approach that shapes them into confident and work-ready professionals.
During the ceremony, LRNF leaders reaffirmed their mission to uplift communities through technical education and professional development.
“Our scholars are now equipped with the skills, confidence, and determination to build meaningful careers,” shared a LRNF representative. “Their achievements today are a testament to what is possible when opportunity meets hard work and unwavering support. We take pride not only in the skills they have gained, but in the character and commitment they have developed.”
Graduates of the program will now proceed to industry placements with partner hotels, restaurants, bakeshops, and cafés-opportunities designed to help them transition seamlessly into the workforce.
LRNF will continue to monitor and support them as they begin their careers in the food and hospitality sector. The event concluded with an inspiring showcase of student-made pastries, artisanal breads, and handcrafted beverages-demonstrating the exceptional talent and training the scholars acquired throughout the program.
As LRNF celebrates its 18th graduating batch, it reinforces its enduring promise: to cultivate skill, ignite passion, and create pathways to a brighter future for every scholar it serves. Press release
