    ANGELES CITY — A businesswoman lost some P350,000 worth of cash, jewelry, high-tech gadgets and other valuables to unidentified motorcycle-riding suspects in Barangay Sto. Cristo here Thursday night.

    The victim was identified as Pamela San Agustin-Ponce, 42, a resident of 5 RV Ponce Street, Barangay Balibago here.

    According to SPO3 Juanito S. Villamin, officer on case, the incident happened in front of the Caltex gasoline station along the MacArthur Highway at around 6 p.m. while the victim was crossing the street to her car.

    Villamin said Ponce was having her vehicle’s windows tinted at the Fortune Auto Supply which is across the said gasoline station..

    The suspects reportedly came from behind and grabbed the victim’s brown signature Louis Vuitton shoulder bag which contained cash amounting to P40,000, Cartier and Louis Vuitton wrist watches worth P40,000, I-Phone 5 smart phone, the victim’s driver’s license; Planters Bank passbook, BDO and Planters Bank check booklets with ready signatures, and three sets of earrings worth approximately P250,000.

    The victim reportedly tried to chase the motorcycle, which had no plate numbers, but to no avail.

    The suspects sped towards the direction of Barangay Pulung-Bulo with the stolen bag.

    The victim described the suspects as both wearing dark jackets and black helmets.

    Meanwhile, Jerry Ponce, the victim’s husband, has offered a reward to any information leading to the arrest of the suspects as he appealed for more police visibility in the city.
