Repetitive Blessed Virgin, but…

One account says there have been over 200 Marian apparitions in the recent years. The Catholic Church has not recognized majority of them, including the famous on-going apparitions in Medjugorje that started in 1981, but that doesn’t mean they are to be dismissed. Those who know would certainly never shelve Medjugorje.

Nor Garabandal. Nor Lipa City. But the explosion of Marian phenomena, even if in the level of probe pendency or even rejected (so far) by Church authorities should raise interest if not concern. Why now? Why at all?

The answers are in the messages themselves, in a language that is so always simply put, nay, redundantly expressed. God exists. Pray, pray pray. Convert. Otherwise, a chastisement will befall us all.

I had once foolishly bet, in the 1990’s, that the chastisement would come before the year 2000. I then just didn’t grasp fully well that God’s time is different from ours.

But even if my prognostication was within what Divine Justice would have had, I failed to account for Divine Mercy that, the Blessed Mother revealed in recent messages, has been pushing back the chastisement in wait for last minute conversions.

I am relatively old. I do not know if I would stay long enough to see the recent prophecies realized but I strongly feel that if I survived another two decades, I’d see the world chug and churn, nay, burn as what the warnings from Akita, Japan had warned.

If the Blessed Virgin Mary could be so repetitive as to be boring in her messages, it must be because not enough are listening. And also because her messages are of such import that they really need underscoring and have to be lived out every hour every day. Or else…

Thus, I find reason to repeat, again and again and again, a very signifi cant message from one of the Blessed Mother’s apparitions, that in Akita which was approved as worthy of belief by the local ordinary.

Here anew is the rather sensational message from Akita, conveyed through Sister Agnes Sasagawa on Oct. 13, 1973: “As I told you, if men do not repent and better themselves, the Father will inflict a terrible punishment on all humanity.

It will be a punishment greater than the deluge, such as one will never have seen before. Fire will fall from the sky and will wipe out a great part of humanity, the good as well as the bad, sparing neither priests nor faithful.

The survivors will find themselves so desolate that they will envy the dead. “The only arms which will remain for you will be the Rosary and the Sign left by my Son. Each day, recite the prayers of the Rosary. With the Rosary, pray for the Pope, the bishops and the priests.

The work of the devil will infiltrate even into the Church in such a way that one will see cardinals opposing cardinals, and bishops against other bishops. The priests who venerate me will be scorned and opposed by
    their Confreres.

“The Church and altars will be vandalized. The Church will be full of those who accept compromises and the demon will press many priests and consecrated souls to leave the service of the Lord. “The demon will rage especially against souls consecrated to God. The thought of the loss of so many souls is the cause of my sadness. If sins increase in number and gravity, there will no longer be pardon for them.”
