It was a rather long message that the Blessed Mother Mary conveyed to us last April 2 through Medjugorje visionary Mirjana. I am particularly struck by her plea for us to “be ready”, as well as her urging us to pray, pray, pray for our shepherds (referring undoubtedly to all priests, including Pope Francis).
Here’s the message in full:
“Dear children, I am calling you to be one with my Son in spirit. I am calling you, through prayer, and the Holy Mass when my Son unites Himself with you in a special way, to try to be like Him; that, like Him, you may always be ready to carry out God’s will and not seek the fulfilment of your own.
“Because, my children, it is according to God’s will that you are and that you exist, and without God’s will you are nothing. As a mother, I am asking you to speak about the glory of God with your life because, in that way, you will also glorify yourself in accordance to His will. Show humility and love for your neighbor to everyone.
Through such humility and love, my Son saved you and opened the way for you to the Heavenly Father. I implore you to keep opening the way to the Heavenly Father for all those who have not come to know Him and have not opened their hearts to His love. By your life, open the way to all those who still wander in search of the truth.
“My children, be my apostles who have not lived in vain. Do not forget that you will come before the Heavenly Father and tell Him about yourself. Be ready! Again I am warning you, pray for those whom my Son called, whose hands He blessed and whom He gave as a gift to you. Pray, pray, pray for your shepherds. Thank you.”
And now for current events: North Korea.
The Blessed Mother was once quoted in Medjugorje as saying that Third World War would not happen.
But was she referring to a mere postponement? Was she saying a world war would not happen, without assurance that a huge part of the world could be decimated by nuclear holocaust anyway?
Just recently, a purported visionary identifying herself as Meriem insists of seeing three missiles and a mushroom cloud. I am not taking this seriously. Yet.
If I were to give importance to my gut feeling, I’d say there will yet be some time before such serious thing as a nuclear attack occurs in the world, if at all it will.
Why? Because I feel that The Warning, as prophesied particularly in the apparitions of the Blessed Mother in Garabandal, Spain, would occur first. Unless it occurs any time today, or in the week or in this month.
There will be tell-tale signs before The Warning, none at all was said about any warning on the occurrence of The Warning. After that, The Miracle, and then The Chastisement which is where we can classify anything nuclear, or even astronomical.
In the meantime, we take the advice of one of the Medjugorje visionaries who were told about precise dates when these things would happen, to be revealed in due time. Asked whether she feared about the events to come, she replied something like “we should all be prepared anytime to face God.”
After all, we all were made for eternity, not for an Imax movie this evening, a brand new car tomorrow, a vacation in Macau next week, the mayorship in May, the presidency in 2016.
