IBA, Zambales — A man wanted for rape was arrested by joint operatives of the Castillejos Municipal Police Station and the 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company at Sitio Dulit, Barangay Nagbunga, Castillejos town.
Zambales police director Col. Romano Velayo Cardiño identified the suspect as Teodorico Bola y Inocencio, 57, married, unemployed and resident of Purok 2, Barangay Balaybay, Castillejos.
In his report to the police director, Castillejos police chief Major Richard Fortaleza said the suspect was arrested at about 8:20 p.m. Monday by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Presiding Judge Melanie Fay B. Tadili of RTC Branch 97, Olongapo City, dated Aug. 20, 2021 for the crime of rape (RPC ART 266-A) under CC No. 2021-1195/1196 with no bail recommended.
Fortaleza cited information that the suspect sexually assaulted the mentally-challenged victim “Nene” in Barangay Balaybay.
The suspect is now locked up in jail at the Castillejos Municipal Police Station.
