SAN FELIPE, Zambales – San Felipe police nabbed a 26-year old man for allegedly raping a 14-year old girl on May 8 in Barangay Farañal here.
Zambales Police Provincial Office (ZPPO), Director, Sr. Supt. Rolando Felix, identified the suspect as Darwin Francia, 26, and resident of Barangay Amagna.
Investigation disclosed that at about 7:45 p.m. on May 8, victim Liza and sister Tess (not their real name) were chatting inside their store when suspect arrived and forcibly held Liza’s hand and reportedly uttered the word “pwede bang pakiss”.
Victim told investigator that she was raped by the suspect on the same night at around 11 p.m. at their residence.
Liza also said the suspect threatened to harm her if she will tell the incident to anybody.
Suspect is now locked up in jail facing acts of lasciviousness and rape in relation to RA 7610.
