PALAUIG, Zambales — Ten delinquent employers in this town were sent show cause order by the Social Security System-Zambales pursuant to its “Run After Contribution Evaders” (RACE) campaign on March 28.
Ihreen Grace Sagaoinit, SSS Iba acting branch head, led the issuance of show cause orders to the ten employers where a total of 23 employees are affected.
The delinquent employers were given 15 days to comply with their obligations.
Since its start this year on February 17 to 28 the RACE campaign here has collected P600,000. A total of P139,419 have been collected this March.
SSS-Iba covers eight other towns in Zambales from San Felipe to Sta. Cruz. .
RACE is a program of the SSS to encourage employers to correct their contribution delinquencies. It was launched in 2017 to ensure the social security protection of its members.
Through RACE, SSS aims to raise awareness and discipline among employers about their legal obligations and also help employers pay their outstanding contributions.
