MASINLOC, Zambales – A suspected drug pusher yielded guns and drugs, while six other drug personalities were arrested joint elements of Masinloc Municipal Police Station, Zambales Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit, 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company and Maritime Police Station during the implementation of a search warrant at Sitio Tingga, Barangay Bani here on Friday evening, July 28.
Masinloc police chief Major Johnathan Bardaje, identified the suspected drug pusher as John Michael Segovia, aka Boss Balong, 36, of Sitio Tingga who is reported to be in the police drug watchlist and previously arrested for violation of RA 9165 in 2012, 2015, and 2019.
Recovered from Segovia were two transparent plastic sachets of suspected shabu weighing more or less 15.75 grams and 15.99 grams; one bundle of suspected dried marijuana leaves more or less 500 grams; one transparent plastic sachet containing suspected dried marijuana leaves weighing more or less 45.33 grams; one transparent plastic sachet containing 25 pieces of suspected green Ecstasy tablets/pills weighing more or less 19.36 grams; one .45 pistol; one magazine and 10 live ammos .45; P4,000 in cash; one .38 revolver loaded with three ammunitions; one .22 pistol; one improvised .22 rifle/airgun; six ammos for .38; three 9mm magazines; two weighing scales; one .22 magazine loaded with four live ammos; nine .45 live ammos; four .9mm live ammos; two .38 live ammos; P680 in cash; one eco bag containing 17 bundles of transparent plastic sachets; one improvised tooter; one box aluminum foil; one improvised large needle; two pairs of scissors; one box containing 26 pieces of lighters; and one empty shell of shotgun.
Also arrested in the act of sniffing shabu during the implementation of the search warrant were Allan Ventura, and Maximum Viscara Aquino, Jr., both of Barangay Bani; Jeffrey Natividad, Ralph Cadasos, Romano Illorig and Ben Navarro, Jr., all of Barangay Baloganon, Masinloc.
Suspects were all detained at Masinloc MPS facing charges violation of Section 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 of RA 9165 and RA 10591.
