CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – One suspected drug pusher was killed and three alleged drug traders were arrested in separate anti-illegal drugs operations over the weekend in Tarlac province, the police regional headquarters here reported yesterday. The report identified the slain suspect as Omar Ugadan of Barangay Tibag, Tarlac City.

Ugadan “surrendered” to the police during the initial stages of Oplan Tokhang but apparently did not give up use and trading of shabu. He was killed in shootout with arresting cops in his barangay last Saturday.

Ugadan was shot dead several meters in front of the house of former mayor Dennis Go when he tried to run away while firing his .38 revolver three times at cops, the report said.

The report also said policemen arrested in separate incidents one Jayson Lansang, 37, of 3029 Abucay St., Tondo, Manila and his alleged cohort Chiaro Crisanto Catu, 26, during an entrapment operation in Barangay San Antonio in Gerona, Tarlac.

Lansang was in possession of four sachets of shabu, while Santos had one sachet plus the marked money used by cops in the sting operation.

The report also said one Santy Samson, 30, of Barangay Panampunan, Tarlac City, was arrested in a buy-bust operation also in Barangay San Antonio. The suspect reportedly had three sachets of shabu.
