‘Pusher’ dead in buy-bust

    ORANI, Bataan – A suspected drug pusher died after he tried to shoot it out with police in a buy-bust operation in this town near midnight Thursday.

    Senior Supt. Benjamin Silo, Jr., Bataan police director, said Carlo Paolo Razon alias Super, 31, of Barangay Tapulao here, died in a legitimate anti-illegal drug operation conducted right in his residence.

    Scene of the Crime Operatives recovered from victim a .38 revolver with five live ammunitions, some empty shells for .9mm, eight small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet of shabu and marked P500-bill.

    Reports showed that a confidential informant and a police poseur-buyer handed P500 to the suspect in exchange for a sachet of shabu.

    The suspect, however, sensed that he was transacting business with a police operative and pulled his revolver and was about to shoot but lawmen fi red and killed him, the report said.

    Razon became the 16th suspected drug off ender who died in shootout with police in Bataan since July 1.
