Police Regional Office 3 honors outstanding individuals and units as it celebrates the 120th Police Service Anniversary. (Police Regional Office 3)
CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga — Police Regional Office 3 (PRO 3) honored outstanding individuals and units as it celebrated the 120th Police Service Anniversary.
Police Regional Director PBGen. Valeriano De Leon disclosed that records from National Historical Commission of the Philippines show that police service as an institution takes its roots from the Insular Police Force that was created on August 8, 1901.
He added that this year’s theme “Hangad na Kalinisan sa Kapulisan, Kapaligiran at Komunidad; Ibayong Gampanan para sa Pangkapulisang Integridad” aptly manifests the Philippine National Police and PRO3’s continuing partnership for sustained proficiency and excellence in law enforcement towards a stable peace and order particularly in Central Luzon.
Individual awardees include PCol. Romell Velasco- Best Senior PCO for Administration, PCol. Lawrence Cajipe- Best Senior PCO for Operations, PMaj. Mark Louie Sigua- Best Junior PCO for Administration and PMaj. Aris Gonzales- Best Junior PCO for Operations.
Also, PSMs. Jewelle Rivera-Best Senior PNCO for Administration, PCMs. Abraham Ancheta- Best Senior PNCO for Operations, PSSg. Mary Joy Fernandez- Best Junior PNCO for Administration, PCpl. Miriam Lapurga- Best Junior PNCO for Operations, NUP Marie Flor De Guzman-Best NUP (Supervisory Level), and NUP Ayla Joy Dela Cruz-Best NUP (Non-Supervisory Level).
Moreover, unit awardees include Pampanga- Best Police Provincial Office, Olongapo- Best City Police Office, San Fernando-Best Component City Police Station, Mariveles in Bataan- Best Municipal Police Station, Station 1 in Olongapo- Best City Police Station, 2nd PMFC of Pampanga PPO- Best Provincial Mobile Force Company, and CMFC of Olongapo CPO- Best City Mobile Force Company.
Meanwhile, individuals that were given special recognition include Mabalacat City Mayor Crisostomo Garbo and other PRO3 Command Group and Staff namely former Regional Operations Division Chief PCol. Alan Manibog, and Regional Public Information Office Chief PLtCol. Soledad Elefanio. (CLJD-PIA 3)
