Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija – A total of fourteen children of SM mall administration employees ages 6 to 12 years old, experienced how to work with SM through PRIME KIDS event spearheaded by Human Resources Department last Saturday (August 31) at SM City Cabanatuan.
Sharon Canino HR manager said that the activity aims to allow the kids to experience the work and environment of their parents in SM and to encourage them to start dreaming on what they want to be in the future.
“We introduce different jobs to the kids like the works of an engineer, a customer relations manager, food court manager, nurse and other mall duties to let them experience and dream of what they want be when they grew up. It also give them an understanding how their parents work guided with P.R.I.M.E principles and the power of camaraderie among others” said Canino.
SM employee’s PRIME principles were P – Performance Driven, R – Results Oriented, I – Intense, M – Mindful, E – Exceptional that everyone should practice to achieved common goals and to serve the SM customers at its finest.
The activities also involves mall tour which gave the kids an opportunity to see the behind the scene features of the mall like the electro mechanical building and the solar panels located at the mall roof deck that generates additional electrical power for the mall.
“WORKING TOGETHER WITH THE HAPPY HEART” the kids says when asked how employees works in SM.
