SAMAL, Bataan- Brigada Eskwela was launched as scheduled in all public elementary and secondary schools in Bataan early morning of Monday.
At the Samal National High School in the farm workers’ sitio of Bubuyog in Barangay Ibaba here, teachers, parents and students joined forces in the clean-up of tall grasses in the school surroundingl.
Some pregnant women participated in cutting grasses and sweeping with walis tingting.
Two members of the municipality’s Bureau of Fire Prevention inspected fire facilities to see the readiness of the school.
Lorinda Poblete, high school principal, said that after the clearing of tall grasses, the parents, teachers and students will clean the classrooms including the chairs.
Brigada Eskwela will go on until May 24.
