PILAR, Bataan- Police on Wednesday afternoon rescued two minors and nabbed two homosexuals suspected of luring the girls into prostitution here.

SPO1 Hilda Candido, chief of the police women’s desk, said police operatives nabbed Arthur Lapidario, 23, of Gen. Lim, Orion and Alfred dela Cruz, 29, of Panilao, Pilar, both in Bataan at about 5:30 p.m.

“Nahuli sila sa entrapment operation sa Family & Friends Hotel sa Panilao gamit ang marked money,” Candido said, adding “they will be charged for violation of the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act.”

She said that Senior Insp. Dennis Orbista, Pilar police chief, has directed a deep investigation on the
matter to prevent other minors from being victimized.

Municipal Social Worker Jenny Lee Casin said the two teenaged girls, aged 15 and 16, will be given counseling  and undergo medico-legal examination at the Bataan General Hospital in Balanga.

“Ipapatawag rin ang mga nanay nila kung alam ang ginagawa ng mga anak nila at bibigyan din ng counseling.

Kung mapatunayang nagpapabaya sa mga anak ang mga magulang, maaari rin silang kasuhan,” the social worker said.

The two girls said they do not know each other and met for the first time in the hotel. They said they were contacted by the two pimps by text messages. Both said their fathers were dead and they were left in the care of their mothers, one selling balut and the other jobless.

They said they charge P1,000 per client with P200 as the share of their handlers.
