CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – Copies of the Holy Bible, aside from hygiene kits, have become “primary weapons” of police frontliners in the battle against the coronavirus disease.
“Amidst this pandemic, our frontliners’ primary weapons apart from their guns and equipment are their faith in the Almighty which shields them from danger,” said Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Rhodel Sermonia who led the distribution of the Holy Book and the hygiene kits in different checkpoints.
“The hygiene kits are for their physical well-being while the Holy Bible is for their spiritual enrichment,” he added.
The enhanced community quarantine has been extended until May 15 in the provinces of Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Tarlac and Zambales.
