MAGALANG, Pampanga – The declaration of the candidacy for the first congressional district of Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. on June 28 has been hailed as “the biggest political event in the history of Pampanga’s First District in terms of logistics and preparation to date.”

The political leaders of the 1st District of Pampanga were all in attendance, including Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda, Rep. Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II, Mabalacat City Mayor Crisostomo Garbo, and Mayor Lacson.

During the event, Lazatin unveiled his legislative agenda for the 1st District, which centers on a single principle – “no one will be left behind” — focusing on delivering public services to all sectors from all walks of life.

Lazatin’s legislative agenda highlights seven main areas: Health; Economy and Livelihood; Vulnerable and Marginalized Sectors (Children, Youth, Women, Senior Citizens, Persons with Disability (PWDs), Solo Parents, and LGBTQ); Environment; Education; Transportation; and Barangays.

Lazatin vowed to exhibit the same fervor and commitment he has shown as mayor of Angeles City and implement his same brand of accessible, “door-to-door” public service in the whole 1st District of Pampanga.

“Ginawa ko po yan ng anim na taon sa Siyudad ng Angeles at ako po ay excited na excited na palawakin po ito at abutin kayo sa bayan ng Mabalacat at Magalang,” Lazatin said. Team Lazatin
