BALANGA CITY — The Philippine National Police and the Philippine Army on Wednesday conducted a ceremonial declaration of state of stable internal peace and security in Bataan at The Bunker, seat of the provincial government here.
Bataan police director Col. Palmer Tria said the declaration means that Bataan is a safe and secure place to live, work, and do business in.
He said that this sends a strong message to the rest of the country that peace and security can be achieved through cooperation and collaboration among stakeholders.
Tria said the declaration of state of stable internal peace and security on Bataan is a significant milestone for the province. “It is a testament to the collective efforts of the police, the Philippine Army, the local government and the community in ensuring peace and order in the province.”
Col. Rudecindo Reales, Police Regional Office 3 deputy director for operations, together with Tria, in collaboration with the Philippine Army headed by Brig. Gen. Gulliver Senires led in the ceremonial declaration.
Gov. Jose Enrique Garcia 3rd thanked the police and the Philippine Army with the support of the community for the favorable peace and order in the province.
