BALANGA CITY — The progress of the police transformation and development initiatives in the province formed the core discussions at the meeting of the Bataan Police Provincial Office and a police advisory group at Camp Cirilo Tolentino here on Aug. 10.
Col. Palmer Tria, Bataan police director, said the meeting also aimed to identify the challenges and opportunities that need to be addressed.
In attendance were members of the Provincial Advisory Group for Police Transformation and Development (PAGPTD) chaired by Pilar Mayor Carlos Pizarro, Jr. and the police provincial strategy management unit headed by Lt. Col. Arnold Montessa.
Pizarro presented his insights on how the local government can effectively support the police in its efforts to maintain peace and order in the province. He also wanted a more efficient and effective police force that will be responsive to the needs of the community.
Tria asked for continuous collaboration and coordination from all parties towards the realization of the desired results. He thanked the LGUs and the PAGPTD for their support in the implementation of the police provincial strategy management program.
