CITY OF SAN FERNANDO— Some 9,297 policemen will be deployed by the Philippine National Police (PNP) to ensure the conduct of an honest, orderly and peaceful midterm elections in Central Luzon.
A send-off ceremony and turn-over of forces and resources was held early Monday at the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO 3) parade grounds that was participated by police and military personnel as well as force multipliers.
“To maximize deployment, police personnel assigned to do desk work will also be sent out to augment the polling precincts to increase the number of those tasked to ensure safety and security on May 13, Election Day,” Police Regional Director, Police Brigadier General Joel Napoleon Coronel said.
