The Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) hosts this year’s Invitational Celebrity Badminton Tournament on Sunday, October 12, 2014, at the Power Play (venue), Apo St. cor Quezon Avenue, Quezon City.
A special fund-raising project of the PMPC, the event is an annual activity sponsored by the club, for leisure and recreation of its members, and for fostering camaraderie with celebrity-friends from show business.
The indoor sports event welcomes showbiz celebrities and other non-PMPC members who would like to battle it out for Competition, Fun games and Exhibition matches in Badminton.
Interested players may register at the venue, starting at 1pm. A Committee at Power Play will be in-charge of assessment and levelling of players, and game monitoring. Five badminton courts are available and players are advised to bring in their own Raketas.
At games end, winners will be proclaimed. Trophies and medals are at stake for the winners in the different Badminton matches.
