BALANGA CITY — The PinasLakas mass vaccination drive against the coronavirus
disease of the Department of Health and part 2 of the “Bakunahan, Bayanihan sa
Barangay: Boosted na Bataeño” started in Bataan Monday.
Inoculation sites in 11 towns and one city opened for vaccination for the first and
second doses and the first and second booster shots.
In Samal, Bataan at the covered court adjacent to the public market many,
including children and adults, subjected themselves for vaccination.
Samal Mayor Alex Acuzar appealed to his constituents to undergo the necessary
kalusugan at pamumuhay.
laban dito.”
The mayor said the launching by the DOH and the provincial government of the
PinasLakas: Boosted na Bataeño campaign was aimed at further strengthening
and intensifying vaccination against Covid–19.
Gov. Jose Enrique Garcia III said they launched the campaign on vaccination
especially on having booster doses because of the approaching opening of classes
in public schools on Aug. 22.
linggo-linggo at magkakaroon ng grand draw sa Oct. 31,” the governor said.
At stake during the weekly draws are a cellphone for one winner, P10,000 each to
two winners and P5,000 each to three winners. The grand draw on October 31
offers P100,000 for one winner, P50,000 each for two winners and P25,000 each
for three winners.
Suportahan natin
ang programa para lahat ay ligtas,” the governor said.
Garcia said in the first part of the campaign for five days, 30,000 individuals were
vaccinated but at that time only 30 percent undertook booster shots. He said the
provincial government targets to vaccinate 400,000 for the next three months.
