Pia is wearing a two-piece gold costume for the movie Gandarrapiddo: The Revenger Squad.
The beauty queen will be joined by Vice Ganda, and Daniel Padilla.
With her sexy costume, was there an incident of wardrboe malfunction?
“Binabantayan naman po namin na maigi yung costume ko at lahat naman po ng mga galaw ko, e, safe. Saka secure yung costume na kapag magte-take, palagi kong tsine-scheck na maayos ang lahat, kasi ayaw naman po namin na magmukhang parang nag-two piece nga pero kitang-kita naman.
“Two-piece pero hindi bastusin, parang puwede sa bata. Sexy pero pleasing to everyone. Hindi offensive.
“Kung nakapag-swimsuit ako sa harap ng maraming milyun–milyon na tao nung Miss Universe na mas konti pa po diyan ang tela po, e, kayang-kayang naman po ito at Rated G naman po kami. Sure na puwede sa lahat.”
Pia was introduced in this movie, after winning the 2015 Miss Universe Pageant. She appeared in some ABS-CBN shows.
“Malaki ang ipinagkaiba dahil noon naman, hindi ako nabigyan ng ganitong kalaki na role. Saka bata pa po ako noon. Mga teenager pa po ako noon ‘tapos ang dami ko nang ibang pinagdaanan, nag-culinary ako, sumali ako sa Bb. Pilipinas, tatlong beses.
“Tapos, may one year pa na Miss Universe. Ang tagal ko na sa pageant world, I can say mga fi ve years na.
“So ibang-iba na siya noon dahil ngayon, mas malaki na ako, mas matanda na ako, and ibang klaseng role.
“Saka dito sa The Revenger Squad, naramdaman ko na parang nag-uumpisa ako uli, na parang may kailangan ako na matutunan uli from scratch.
“I don’t consider myself na dahil may acting experience na ako noon, i-apply ko dito.
“Kasi iba naman yung noon at iba yung acting na ginagawa ko sa mga commercial ng Miss Universe hanggang sa ngayon.”
Pia admits it’s a challenging role for her.
“Ito, iba talaga siya dahil one character lang siya na kailangan ma-sustain for the whole duration na magsushoot kayo so iba talaga siya.
“Bago siyang challenge, bago siyang role, and masaya talaga siya. I can honestly say that I am happy na after Miss Universe, ito yung naging bagong challenge ko.”

“MEANT TO BE” is different from all the movies Vic Sotto did.
He has less comedic acts, Baste did most of the part. Dawn Zulueta will play as Bossing’s love interest.
“Sabi ko nga, serious/funny movie ito.
“Kasi ako naman, kami ni Dawn, we just react to the situation. If the situation is already funny, we don’t have to make funny faces.
“We don’t have to try hard to be funny”
Isn’t it awkward, Baste did most of the funny acts?
“Hindi naman really kay Baste, it’s more on the situation that is really funny,” pagtatama niya.
Yun ang nagdadala ng komedya, e.”
Since 2002, Vic has been joining the MMFF, only last year that he wasn’t able to join because of the new criteria. Is he pressured that every year his movies were top grossers?
“Hindi ko na iniisip yun. Sa tagal ko sa pagsali rito sa festival. It doesn’t really matter. What really matters to me right now is for the festival to be successful. Mas maraming manood, mas mabuti. Mas marami yung kumita ang pelikula, mas mabuti.
“So I endorse all the movies, pero siyempre, unahin na nila ang Meant to Beh. Panoorin nilang lahat. Yung kay Vice [Ganda], kay Coco [Martin], yung Larawan. Magaganda yung mga pelikula.
“Talagang it should be a merry Christmas for all the moviegoers. Nakaka-miss talaga. Na-miss ko rin yung sumakay ng float. It’s good be back.”
Currently, Maine Mendoza is in the States.
Last November 28, after posting her open letter to a fan, Maine hasn’t been seen in Eat Bulaga.
“Im trying. I’ve been in the business, and I’ve been in the business for so many years. Kapag mahal mo ang ginagawa mo, kahit anong pagdaanan mo, e, kakayanin mo.
“We cannot judge. We cannot judge anyone for that matter. Me, I cannot judge.
“Basta ako, nirerespeto ko kung anuman ang maging desisyon niya.
“Wala naman kasi akong social media kaya hindi ko alam ang nangyayari, e. Nakiki-update lang ako kay Pauleen [Luna, wife].”
Bossing believes that the tandem of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza cannot be separated.
“Wala namang makakabuwag dun. AlDub si AlDub.
“Bakit, yung Guy & Pip ba, kinalimutan niyo na? Hindi, hindi naman. Nandiyan na yun, forever na nandiyan na yun. Nakatatak na sa mga puso natin. Hindi na mawawala yun.”
Has he any idea of Maine’s comeback in Eat Bulaga?
“Hindi ko alam. Tanungin niyo sa kanya.”
