CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — “It’s almost impossible, until it’s done.” Citing a quote from Nelson Mandela, Elizabeth Banting Capuli, chief social insurance officer of PhilHealth San Fernando, Pampanga Local Health Insurance Office (LHIO) summed up events culminating with the ribbon cutting and blessing of the new office building of PhilHealth San Fernando LHIO held on July 5.
The new location of the PhilHealth San Fernando LHIO is at the 1 st and 2 nd floors of the Cyberhaus Property Holdings, Inc. Bldg., North Forbes, MacArthur Highway, Barangay San Agustin here.
With wider office space to serve more clients and stakeholders, the PhilHealth San Fernando LHIO has wider parking space too and strategically located between Walter Mart and Vista Mall, also provides easier access for public transportation.
Present during the ribbon cutting and office blessing were Rev. Fr. Emil Guiao, PhilHealth Areas I and II vice president Walter R. Bacareza, acting vice president Henry V. Almanon, acting branch manager-A Dr. Rowena Zabat-San Mateo, Department of Health-Region 3 director Dr. Corazon I. Flores, Philippine Information Agency-3 director William L. Beltran, Pag-IBIG Fund manager Liberty C. Guerrero, Pampanga provincial health officer Dr. Dax M. Tidula, and partners from the local government units, Landbank of the Philippines, Development Bank of the Philippines, Victorina Marzan, and the PhilHealth management committee.
A virtual message of support was also received by PhiHealth from City Mayor Vilma Caluag during the celebration.
Milestones during this event were the inauguration and sealing of partnerships of PhilHealth with president Albert B. Garcia of the San Fernando City Pampanga Federation of PUV Transport Services Inc., Jeepney Federation; president Ricardo L. Ramos Jr. of Pampanga Fernandinos United Merchants and Trading Association; and president Arjel C. Aquino of the New Public Market Vendors and Traders Association of the City of San Fernando.
PhilHealth San Fernando also highlighted the following new and expanded benefits for all the members: 30% increase in the benefit case rates for all admissions started Feb. 14, 2024; P4,000 per outpatient hemodialysis session started July 1, 2024, no co-pay (zero out of pocket), with 156 sessions annually; P1.4 million Z Benefit Package for breast cancer (from Php100,000.00); Php 90,100.00 for High-risk Pneumonia (from P32,000); and P9,000 (general) and P16,000 (specialty)for outpatient mental health services With the support of all the members, partners, and stakeholders, nothing is impossible for PhilHealth, to reach every Filipino and to provide excellent service with an advocacy of “Pinalawak at mga Bagong Benepisyo para sa Mamamayang Filipino.” Press release
