ANGELES CITY- Provincial parents need not send their children to Metro Manila to take up medicine. Here, the course can be had as well, if not better.
All 12 medical students who graduated last year from the Angeles University Foundation (AUF) School of Medicine passed the last physician licensure examinations, earning the university an overall passing rate of 92.31 percent as against the national average of 81.25 percent.
“The AUF School of Medicine ranked highest among medical schools north of Metro Manila and placed fourth nationwide among those with less than 50 examinees according to Professional Regulation Commission records,” AUF noted.
School of Medicine dead Dr Evelyn Yumiaco said “the success of our graduates is a product of their academic preparedness, strong faith in the Almighty and their full support for one another.” “We also attribute it to the commitment of AUF and School of Medicine faculty to provide quality and relevant medical education recognized locally and internationally,” she added.
The new doctors from the AUF School of Medicine are Erwin Abraham L. Bondoc, Julian Patrick L. Bulaclac, Lei Anne C. Carolino, Karen Tiffany Pilar Q. Del Rosario-Henson, Ma. Melody Y. Diaz, Anna Mae D.L. Duya, Marlyn Galicia, Lawrence Y. Maliwat, Terence L. Manuel, Kristine Joy L . Mendoza, Jeshua Caleb B. Miole and Mark Lester I. Tolenada.
