MABALACAT CITY — The Pampanga Electric Cooperative Inc. II (Pelco 2) announced Friday through its Facebook page that it will implement an installment payment option for the March and April electric bills to help ease the financial burden of its member-consumer-owners (MCOs) during ECQ.

Starting May, the MCOs can settle their outstanding balance for March and April electric bills within four months through a staggered payment without interest which will reflect on their upcoming statement of account for the month of May.

Pelco 2 noted that the staggered payments can only be paid at their area office.

The coop also mentioned that any MCOs who wish to pay their total outstanding balance in full can settle their account at any of its area offices as well as payment partners such as Bayad Centers and EC Pay via 7-Eleven, Western Union, LBC, and others.

In addition, MCOs who wish to start paying one month of their outstanding balance beginning with their March electric bill will likewise be accepted at any payment centers.

As for bills dated February and earlier, Pelco 2 said older dues prior to ECQ can only be paid at their area offices.

In the meantime, Pelco 2 will begin to hand out the Pantawid Liwanag Program coupons through its meter readers as subsidies to its qualified consumers belonging to the vulnerable sector from its residential lifeline consuming 0-50kwh. More than 41,000 qualified MCOs will benefit from the PLP with total amount of P6 million.
