ANGELES CITY – In order to keep the roads safe for motorists and pedestrians from unruly bikers, Partido Abe Kapampangan’s candidate for councilor Jose Aubrey “Kuya Jay” Pelayo IV vows to get rid of those so called ‘kamote’ riders through proper training.

Being the president of Metro Angeles City Journalists Association, Inc., Pelayo has reported that almost 70 percent of road accidents in Angeles City involves single motorcycles.

Pelayo, a radio anchor for blocktime program “Agyu Tamu, Angeleños” on GV99.1FM, revealed that some of the owners of the wrecked motorcycles that are parked near the traffic management and enforcement unit have died due to sustained injuries.

“I am a rider too but I had the opportunity to undergo motorcycle training before riding along thoroughfares, and I want to share the same opportunity to my fellow Angeleño riders,” Pelayo said.

One of the programs Pelayo is planning if he wins a seat at the city council is to create an ordinance to provide a free safety driving to new motorcycle owners and riders in this highly urbanized city.
