SUBIC, Zambales – Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and its police counterparts dismantled a makeshift drug den that led to the arrest of three suspects and confiscation of P130,410 after a joint buy-bust operation in Barangay Matain here late Friday night, Aug. 4.
Police identified the suspects as Crystalline Torres, and Jabil Jailana, both residents of Purok 3, Barangay Matain; and Jojo Alcala of Sitio Tahimik, Barangay Calapacuan also in Subic.
Recovered from the suspects were nine heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing 18.9 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P130,410, assorted drug paraphernalia, and the buy-bust money.
All suspects now face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
