A report from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in this city said the suspect, Jay-Ann Salonga of Mountain View Subdivision in Balibago here, was arrested in a buy-bust operation in a house in Bagong Silang subdivision in Barangay Cutud here.
City police director Sr. Supt. Enrico Vargas said the operation yielded the biggest volume of shabu from a buy-bust scheme.
Most of the other illegal drugs, mostly shabu, in such operations yielded only a few sachets of shabu, he noted.
PDEA operatives also confiscated from the suspect a Taurus PT 24/7 PRO caliber .40 pistol, two pistol magazines, three cellphones, assorted drug paraphernalia, a black Ford Ranger pick-up truck with plate mark AAJ 5127 and P1,500 marked money.
No-bail charges were immediately filed against the suspect now in a local jail.
