ANGELES CITY — Patrol Partylist, one of the strongest and leading partylist groups in the country, is calling for massive vigilance and public safety this coming May 13 elections.
Patrol first nominee, PLTC Jorge Antonio P. Bustos (Ret) yesterday asked all Patrol Partylist leaders, supporters , members and allies to unite and protect the voting populace during the upcoming elections while asserting that vigilance and readiness is the key to public safety.
“We expect our allies, especially the candidates for local positions, from representatives to governors and mayors, to observe peace and order and respect the sanctity of the elections.
” We also ask them to help all patrolers to protect the voting populace against any manmade harm. We must exercise vigilance and alertness. We urge everyone to participate and protect each other,” Bustos said.
Patrol Partylist is championing the advocacy against crime and also the public’s preparedness against disasters.
It has been generating huge support from different organizations in the past three years and has gained the respect of known candidates in various parts of the country. Just recently, Patrol Partylist also reportedly got the support of a large religious group known to exercise bloc voting during elections.
