MASINLOC, Zambales – The No. 1 most wanted person in this municipality was arrested in Purok 1, Barangay Sabang, Vinzons, Camarines Norte by a composite team from Vinzons Municipal Police Station serving as the lead unit, Masinloc Municipal Police Station, and the CIDG and Provincial Highway Patrol of Camarines Norte.
Report reaching the office of Zambales provincial director Police Col. Ponce Rogelio Peñones, Jr., identified the suspect as Pastor Ernesto Dando y Cayabyab, 62, married, an employee of Consolidated Mines Inc., and resident of Coto Taltal, Masinloc.
The suspect was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest for two counts of murder docketed under Criminal Case Nos. RTC 12996-2019-I and RTC 12996-2019-I issued by Judge Santiago M Beltran of RTC Branch 69, Iba, Zambales dated Dec. 11, 2019.
Upon arrest, the suspect voluntarily surrendered his .40 Norinco pistol with serial no. F001834, PTC card with #EDC-190920-6266-0 valid until Sept. 20, 2020, LTOPF ID with #2018I-ECD1396791-FEO set to expire on Aug. 6, 2020 and FA Registration ID with #2298514, along with two magazines and 20 pieces of live ammunition.
Report said the suspect went into hiding after killing one Shiela Rise Egenias in Masinloc.
