ANGELES CITY — Pangasinan Governor Amado Espino, on Monday, has officially signed the Executive Order no. 18-2021, easing the travel restrictions in its province.

The EO no.18 or “Adopting the uniform travel protocols under IATF-EID Resolution no. 101 series of 2021” states the travel guidelines and requirements for authorized persons outside of residence (APOR) as well as tourists.

The EO also states that Pangasinan may now admit tourists outside the BLUPISIN (Baguio, La Union, Pangasinan, and Ilocos region) area.

APORs and tourists who will travel to its towns no longer require the mandatory quarantine, swab testing, and medical certificate, but must pass the symptom-screening at ports of entry and exit or upon boarding public transport.

Under the EO, APORs from the national government agencies, and their attached agencies, local government units, and the private sectors need to provide valid identification including travel order and itinerary.

Tourists are also encouraged to register online via the www.tarana.ph of the safe, swift, and smart passage (S-PaSS) visitor registration system of the DOST.

APORS and tourists are required to follow the minimum health standard protocols such as wearing of face mask and face shields, physical distancing, hand hygiene, and cough etiquette.

The EO mandates all local government units of Pangasinan to follow the aforementioned guidelines and are required to coordinate with the office of the Governor should they issue additional regulations on travel guidelines into their respective towns.
